Aaron Schwindt, President A native Oregonian, Aaron graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Oregon with a B.S. in Psychology and Business Administration. In 2008, Aaron formed Living Earth Investments to manage money for conscientious investors who want their investments to reflect their values and ethics. Aaron works from home in order to minimize his carbon footprint and to help reduce traffic congestion and oil consumption. Living Earth Investments utilizes a paperless office environment whenever possible to improve communication effeciency and reduce waste.
Prior to forming Living Earth Investments, Aaron was Vice President at McAdams Wright Ragen in Portland. While at MWR, Aaron developed a proprietary research methodology for tracking and monitoring all investment opportunities for every bank in the United States. From 2003 to 2007, Aaron worked as an Equity Research Analyst at Wedbush Morgan Securities in Lake Oswego. From 2001 to 2003, Aaron worked as a trading assistant for US Bancorp Piper Jaffray's fixed income and municipal trading desks in Portland. Aaron is actively involved in a number of charitable organizations that focus on sustainability and human dignity, including Mercy Corps, Medical Teams International, Millennium Promise, AmeriCares, the American Red Cross, and the Oregon Food Bank.
Aaron currently lives in Portland with his wife Mallika. Aaron and Mallika share their home with thier black lab Henry, and their two cats, Oscar and Rocco. Aaron spends his free time outside snowboarding and backpacking.
